Kiwi & Cherry Spritzer: Sleep Edition

The Sleep foundation recognizes tart cherry juice as a potential natural seep aid because of its melatonin and tryptophan content. This yummy drink contains also contains kiwi, which is has been shown to improve sleep quality, efficiency and reduce wake-after-sleep-onset, likely via its serotonin content and antioxidants that impact sleep regulation. When combined, the cherry juice may boost melatonin and tryptophan availability while the kiwi adds serotonin precursors and antioxidant support, creating a multi-pathway effect on sleep. We love it because it doesn't contain alcohol--which is a natural disrupter of melatonin and is associated with poor sleep quality.
